queerDOC, the world’s premier LGBT documentary festival is hitting the road. After delighting audiences in Sydney for 11 years, queerDOC is coming to your town too!
The films in this program represent the very best in queer themed documentaries this year. From the fantasy world of a Filipina ‘lady-boy’, to the real life of one of Australia’s most influential drag personalities, from gay men in Iran changing gender to save their lives, to an Aussie trans-man making the transition, women’s soccer teams beating bureaucracy, Lebanese Lesbians finding love in a war zone, and negotiations between artist and muse, queerDOC takes you around the world through fun, freaky and fantastic queer journeys.
