2012 MARDI GRAS FILM FESTIVAL
ENTRY DEADLINE FRIDAY 11 NOVEMBER 2011

The Mardi Gras Film Festival, the number one queer film event south of the equator, is open for submissions.  Queer themed features, shorts and docos, from anywhere in the world are encouraged to submit to the festival. The festival runs late February to early March, and feature films and documentaries selected for the Mardi Gras Film Festival are eligible for a Jury Award and Audience Award.

2012 MY QUEER CAREER
ENTRY DEADLINE: FRIDAY 11 NOVEMBER 2011

Calling all AUSTRALIAN FILMMAKERS who are queer or have made a queer film.  The 2012 My Queer Career competition is seeking entries.  My Queer Career is one of the world's most prestigious awards for queer short filmmakers and is only open to locally produced work.  The major prize includes $3,000 cash and automatic inclusion in the international queer shorts competition, the IRIS PRIZE.  Other prizes include in-kind production facilities and support to the value of $15,000.

queerDOC

queerDOC is Australia's GLBT documentary film festival, screening in Sydney, annually in September.  The first of its kind, queerDOC remains the largest forum exclusively for GLBT documentaries in the world. 

Submissions for queerDOC are now closed.
