KATOOMBA @ THE EDGE CINEMA

A selection of films from this year’s Mardi Gras Film Festival are due to light up the screen at Katoomba’s The Edge Cinema from June 18 to June 20, 2010.

Australia’s leading producer of queer film events, Queer Screen, is thrilled to showcase some of the very best films from the 2010 Mardi Gras Film Festival in Katoomba for the third consecutive year.


Queer Screen is heading back to Katoomba for pinkFEST with five screenings from this years' Mardi Gras Film Festival Friday June 18 - Sunday June 20 at the Edge Cinema!

MY QUEER CAREER
Join us for an all-Aussie start to PINKfest flicks with eight
exquisite new films. This year's finalists in Austalia's most
prestigious queer short film competition are as diverse and
engaging as our community as itself.

Nip/Tuck's Sharon Gless stars in a funny and revealing love story
about two girls who become lovers and  lifelong partners, negotiating
family obligations, infidelity and the complications of gender roles.

Twilight's Robert Pattinson plays the young Salvador Dali
in this picturesque biopic about the lives and  loves of Dali,
Luis Bunuel, and the writer Garcia Lorca, set  in the lead-up
