Lesbian. Community. History.
If you haven't already, it's time you met Jools and Lynda Topp, the world's only yodelling, lesbian, country-and-western-singing comedienne twins. Untouchable Girls mixes interviews, performance footage, home videos and news archives to paint a portrait of New Zealand's most cherished and charming double act.  Their story spans fifty years, from humble beginnings on a dairy farm to internationally acclaimed touring artistes. Along the way we learn how they developed their signature characters, their camaraderie through coming out, Jools' triumph over breast cancer, and the rare occasions of sibling rivalry.   But this is no ordinary documentary, the film effortlessly weaves a world where you become one part fly-on-the-wall, one part audience member at a comedy show and one part treasured confident.
