After a moment of passion-fueled fury, Julia is left with blood on her hands and a life behind bars. She is committed to ‘The Lion’s Den’ a special prison ward for mothers with children. Julia is pregnant and will raise her son within these walls, but the terrifying catch is, only until he turns four years old. During her time in the Den she is taken under the wing, and into the bed, of fellow inmate Marta, who trains her in ways of survival, but as the clock ticks and young Tomas grows older, the lionesses must plan to protect their cub.
