Iconic independent filmmaker, Monika Treut (Virgin Machine, Gendernauts) offers her next uniquely crafted, pioneering work, an unusual love story that bridges two worlds. German artist Sophie travels to Taipei to try and come to terms with the sudden, unexpected death of her lover Ai-Ling. There, she is pursued by a pushy journalist who seems obsessed with Ai-Ling’s fate, and through a series of mysterious encounters, Sophie begins to piece together the connection between all three women.
