In the exquisite hills of Basque country, a small farming community struggles to maintain their traditional, subsistence existence. At the heart of this community is Ander, a solitary farmer in his own routine and world. The arrival of Jose, a young, handsome immigrant worker from Peru, turns this idyll upside down, as friendship develops into something much deeper and Ander is awakened to the joys and uncertainties of the world outside.
